- User can select from several pre-defined search ranges with the custom button (Law, History, Pauline Epistles, etc.).

Forge is a free external module build tool for SwordSearcher. It is designed for advanced users and publishers who need to be able to import a large amount of text into a SwordSearcher module without using SwordSearcher's internal user editor. It can be used to build Bible, Commentary, and Book modules for SwordSearcher 5.

Version 2.1 adds additional Bible book abbreviation support and a book abbreviation exclusion list option.

In 1918, Clarence Larkin published his seminal work Dispensational Truth, sub-titled "God's Plan and Purpose in the Ages." SwordSearcher Bible Software includes the enlarged and revised edition published in 1920.

Though Larkin's teachings on dispensational study were not new, his extensive charts painstakingly designed by hand made the material accessible and readily understandable to new readers.

Dispensational Truth was added to the SwordSearcher Deluxe Study Library for version 5.4.

Notes on the Pentateuch (Commentary on Genesis through Deuteronomy), by Charles H. Mackintosh (1820-1896) was signed simply "C.H.M." by its author. It was originally published in six volumes from 1880 to 1882 and is Mackintosh's most renowned work.

His commentary on the Pentateuch is mostly devotional in nature and finds the Creator, Jesus Christ, in every book. Mackintosh believed that the glory of Christ shone through each passage.

The Mackintosh commentary module was added to the Deluxe study library for SwordSearcher 5.3.

The Writings of Charles H. Mackintosh includes 97 essays and articles from "C.H.M." (as he signed most of his writings).

The SwordSearcher Mackintosh module is comprised of C.H.M.'s writings originally published in Miscellaneous Writings, seven volumes, and Occasional Papers. Mackintosh wrote on many topics, with his strong emphasis on evangelization and genuine Christian repentance clear throughout.

The Annotated Bible, by Arno Clemens Gaebelein (1861-1945), is a "passage by passage" commentary on the whole Bible. It was originally published in nine volumes from 1913 to 1922. SwordSearcher contains the complete Gaebelein commentary.

Version 2.0 adds automatic verse linking to Forge. It is no longer necessary to tag verse references in Forge source files. The "Automatically link verse references" option, when checked, will find verse links in the source text and automatically link and index them for SwordSearcher. Often, when you need to find verses in the Bible, you need to look for more than just a single form of the word. For example, you may want to search for "love," but also want to find verses with other forms of the word, such a "loveth" and "loving." You could easily type in each form of the word, but that is not convenient and you may forget one.

SwordSearcher provides a powerful searching function called English Stemming. When you use this, SwordSearcher will reduce words down to their base form (or stem), such as "love" for "loving" when doing comparisons for matches. This way, the software sees "love, loveth, loved, loving," etc., as all the same word and will include them in the search.
